    10504 Patuxent Ridge Way 20723.

I am the owner of a historic property here in the county. I only mention that because more than half of my home is over the County setback regulations placing parts of it precariously close to the street. I have been watching our street lined mature maples failing for years. County already removed one about 5+ years ago. That said, the remaining two are in danger of falling into the house or worse, loosing limbs onto passenger cars or walkers. The first tree completely died this past year and the second has center rot, and has been dropping limbs all winter and spring. I’m reaching out because these are county trees and not mine to remove. What is the process in which to have a county representative from Public Works evaluate my situation? The other tree that was removed just miraculously disappeared one day.

    Thank you for your time,
