(The property is actually on 431 Laurel but it is a corner lot and the sidewalk obstruction is on Elm)

There are two rope swings that hang over the sidewalk roughly in the middle. This is dangerous to sight-impaired people and to distracted people, and impedes the transit of other pedestrians, like those hauling kid strollers.

  • 971 Oak Ln Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA - Menlo Park
Hello. At 971 Oak Lane in Menlo Park, the roof of a building was removed this morning. Now this white fluffy insulation is leaking from the building and blowing in the wind. Can you please have tarps or a tent applied to this building so nearby residents aren’t exposed to whatever material is now blowing in the wind. Thank you very much.
  • 745 University Dr Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA - Menlo Park
I live next to the huge 3 story construction on University Dr. and I was wondering if someone in the city could help me resolve the problem of the iron plates that have been in the street for weeks. It looks as if they have completed the sewer connection but they have NOT removed/paved over the plates which have been keeping me awake for weeks as cars drive over them all night. I can no longer call the construction firm as the new fence no longer has the name and number listed and by the time I get home from work, there are only spanish speaking workers. When they completed the sewer attachment on the other side of the property, they removed the plates and paved it over promptly, but the current set of plates that stretch across the entire street (across from 745 University Dr.) have been there a very long time. Since I am paying 75% of my salary to rent this property, I would really appreciate it if you could do anything to help speed up the process of getting the plates removed and paved over so I can at least sleep at night! Thank you so much.

Traffic management signs in bike lanes, obstructing bicycle traffic, forcing cyclists to swerve in front of following traffic. These signs would never be placed in "normal" traffic lanes, but would be put off the roadway, as I've seen in other cities and towns.
  • 506 Santa Cruz Avenue Menlo Park, California - Menlo Park
According to the Menlo Park construction website traffic control is implemented at this corner during construction operation. This is not happening. The construction fencing is too far into the street to see what is coming around the corner from two directions. I was almost hit by a car exiting the McDonald’s parking lot because they could not see around the fencing but are right in the traffic lane in order to see. The fencing needs to make back.
  • 2180 Sand Hill Rd Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA - Menlo Park
Construction is continuing to start very early in the morning (today it was around 6:30am). Please remind the workers to wait until 8am so as not to disrupt residents who live close by.
  • 333 Burgess Drive Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States of America - Menlo Park
There are loud construction bangs and continuous beeping from backing up trucks and vans. Very loud and continuous during the day and early start times, 4:30am!

The construction workers who are building the house across the street park in front of our house every day, often leave their vehicles overnight without permits, smoke in front of our house, etc... we have small children and we also need the parking, they could easily park on Van Buren where they won't be in front of anyone's home.
