Hey Gilbert Town, thanks for the punctual recycle trash collection! Guess who else is an early bird now? Maybe we can switch to a late-night trash collection service.

Why do you just seem to provide stock answers to questions It appears you don't even read the questions Let me ask it a more simple way: is the town of Gilbert Mayoral election over? And if so when do the signs need to come down I can't see when pulling out of my subdivision because of the mess of signs on the corner of Recker and Queen Creek and the biggest ones are mayoral signs

I love Gilbert 311. I've reported 4 damaged traffic signs, and 3 were repaired by the next day; one by 8:15 the following day. The 4th sign was repaired within 2 days because the following day was Sunday.

My last report was about a significant, prolonged irrigation leak at a Cicle K. 311 contacted me a few days later, notifying me that management had been notified. The leak was repaired 2 days later.

Recently, I contacted Octavia Freeland about 2 minor issues that I had with Gilbert 311. She showed true concerns about my minor issues. A week later, she followed up a status report and mentioned that she is going to have Gilbert 311 meeting tomorrow.

This 311 new report is partly a test for me, but it is primarily to give Tow staff kudos for the great job they are doing.

I hope that you see this story from the local TV news this evening when Drew Porter, a solid waste employee, saw a burning vehicle and used his fire extinguisher to put the fire out, even before the fire department got there.

With his actions and the Town of Gilbert fire extinguisher, further damage was stopped.

Also, it looked like Mr. Porter knew exactly how to effectively use the small fire extinguisher on a large fire. (Gilbert, Thanks for your training of our valuable employees.)

I live in a community that seems to generate a lot of un-contained, bulk trash and vegetation trimmings.

Picking up the trash is often a thankless duty. It seems that working outside and in an un-airconditioned Kubota loader can be miserably hot, especially this summer.

Jeremy and Ruben always do a great job when picking up bulk trash. They even sweep the road after a few leaves drop.

Both are so, so polite and always, for more than a year, greeted me by name and seem happy to see me.

The Town and citizens should be very proud to have them as employees!

This is what happens when you don't enforce the illegal feeding of cats on town property.

Officers Sevenski, and Sperry and police records staff Jane provided me outstanding service after my identity was stolen about a month ago. Sevenski gave me much time and respect for my initial report and officer Sperry explained things to me when I didn't understand. Records staff Jane suggested that I submit a records request weeks before the record was processed; I'm so glad of this suggestion.

Although I'm disappointed that no officer was appointed to my case, because I ,"...suffered no financial damage", I am mostly satisfied with the Gilbert PD response to the damage to my credit and credit rating.

All contacts with the police department have been good, but I had hoped more help on my case. Yes, officer Sperry explained about "triage" (he may have not used that word), but he was clear to me about the concept of loss, especially liss of money....I don't think I lost any money with my identity breach.

I wanted to reach out and say that I just recently discovered this app/resource and I think you are all doing such a wonderful job addressing the issues. It is so nice to be able to get the notes and follow up on the request! I recently reported a man sleeping near our home with mental health issues, and as a social worker myself I am VERY impressed that the issue was referred to Community Bridges and they promptly responded. Thank you all for the work you are doing to keep our town safe!

BULK trash crew. You cleaned up a large Palo Verde branch that had broken and was lying in the street and sidewalk. I was supposed to work a 16hr shift but left early so I could deal with the branch in the afternoon heat so I could get it into mh bulk pile. Your crew came by before I got home and got the bulk AND took the branch. thank you
