    There's a white Chevy SUV with a "MICROBAC" logo on it, driven by an older man, consistently driving down the lakefront bike trail along the beach between about 6-7am many days per week. He appears to be taking water samples from the Hammond side of Whihala beach. While he does pull to the side for pedestrians, he's also killing plants and putting tire tracks all along the path by doing so. The path is meant to be for pedestrians and bikes only. It's also one of the only spots in Whiting where anyone can go to enjoy and semblance of "nature," not a place to worry about dodging traffic. He could easily be given a key to the gate at the other end of the beach, or pull up to the gate and walk an extra 15 feet, rather than driving all the way down the trail.

    The handicap ramp to the beach is blocked off. Are there repairs that need to be made
    and if so can we get an update as to when they will be completed?

    Speed bumps along the park drive are too high. They are scraping the bottom of cars that go over them.
