Not sure if this is still the way it is handled, but in the past it has been the property owner's responsibility to fix damaged sidewalks in front of their property even if it is not actually their property and just the City "right of way" next to the street. Apparently the City will also fix it and then bill the closest property owner sometimes. I would report this issue to Code Enforcement and see if anything can be done about it: http://www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd/code-enforcement-violation-report or call (520) 791-5843.

I will definitely give that a try but there are several of them i would like to report as they are all MAJOR HAZARDS

Has anyone been out to even look at this issue why no response what does it take for a city worker to go take a look at a problem

Fredy, I don't know if you ever reported this to Code Enforcement or not, but it appears they never went out to inspect. I have reported it for you on the correct parcel. What happens now most likely is it will take about a month for Code Enforcement to go check it out, then, Code Enforcement will call the Transportation Department to have them create a work order...from what I have experienced, streets and traffic maintenance will in the mean time spray paint the buckled portion of sidewalk with markings to make more visible and also place a traffic barricade to alert pedestrians of the damaged portion. Then, you can expect to wait several more months in order for the problem to be corrected. It used to be the property owner closest to the sidewalk was responsible for fixing the problem however, it is unclear now who actually pays and it seems like the City is now just fixing buckled sidewalks but taking several, several months to fix. Yes Jorge this is getting RIDICULOUS because there are several other places in town that I've reported these same problems and nothing is being done.
I know I've reported enough of them to fill with a truckload of cement these Damn things are everywhere the city of Tucson just don't care

I think I need to step this up a notch and call the governor of Arizona because the city and county just ignore what we post . Seriously what is the point of this site if nobody looks at it

What are you people waiting for someone to die before you'll do anything about these issues there are several of them around town many of which myself and other people call in there's are tripping hazards and are even more dangerous for wheelchairs because they have to go in the road to get around them
