It's sad too that fireworks are continued to shot at the Colgate Clock and especially with dried vegetation. Last night at 2:30am I contacted the Police about fireworks being shot there and 2 police cars arrived by the Goldman Sac's Building and they sit beside each other for over 10 minutes and never went to see about the couple and their young (age 4-6) old daughter who was shooting fireworks. I left my apartment at 2:45am to go and asked the people to stop shooting fireworks. I called back to the police department after this as the couple refused to stop.....and finally they stopped. I don't understand why this area is not being policed and why this area is ignored. I agree 100% with your point, the Colgate Clock could be a jewel of the waterfront, but the city continues to ignore our area.
