I live on Poole Street in Brockton. Athena market has been recently sold. In March of 2021 the placed a tractor trailer truck body on the Poole Street side of their building. It is being used as a refridgerated storage unit. this unit has a very large fan facing Poole Street which goes on and off every 1-2 minutes. The noise from this fan is excessive and is disturbing ALL the surrounding neighbors. We have spoken to the owners on many occasions and they have stated the are having a company from Brazil construct a sound proofing mechanism. In the meantime we asked that a truck be parked behind the fan to blocked the noise, at least at night, but the very rarely comply. We have suffered with this excessive noise now for almost 5 months. We cannot sleep!!! It is very annoying having family gatherings in the yard, as we cannot hear each other talk. This used to be a very quiet, lovely, dead end street, please help us restore the peace.
