Kent owns this now vacant lot property. It should have been posted and fence put up across the driveway after the dumped refrigerator reported in KentWorks Request # 9786230 got picked up.

Old U-Haul truck is still, backed into the trees just east of the Signature Pointe entrance roundabout.

Old U-Haul truck is still there along with huge homeless camp mess. Just east of the Signature Pointe Apartments entrance roundabout.

This is the stuff that was dumped by the pickup truck on July 3.

Pickup truck is back on 7/6/2021.

The mess has grown on 7/6/2021.

This is an active encampment that has been reported to the Kent Police Department. The UHaul has been reported to Parking Enforcement. Once staff receives clearance, they will address the dumping/liter issues.

Thank you. What exactly meant by "posted the site"? If that means "Keep Out" or "No Dumping" signs I saw none at the entrance to this property when I rode past there at 4:30 PM today. I still think Kent should fence off the old driveway entrance to this property.

“Posted” refers the placing of an official notice to vacate within 48 hours, which is a legal requirement prior to “cleaning up” encampments on City property. This action is performed by the Kent Police Department. It does not apply to private property, as that is a trespassing issue.
