The issue still has not been fixed. The building actually looks worse because vandals are also using the building as a canvas to further bring down the property value. I had hoped this app. would really address issues but to date, there is ni change.

The issue still has not been addressed. The city having this app is good in "theory" but in actuality its bad. Its just another reminder that no one in the Mount Vernon city government addresses the issues brought forth by its citizens. Prior to the app I've complained about this issue for years and now with the app I've complained for over 2 months still no change. I just have one question, who in Mount Vernon will finally step up and take responsibility for the concerns of its citizens?

There has been no change since the 1st report. I'm not sure if Deputy Commisioner Hackett (who was assigned to this) is still with the City because nothing was done. The entire building has become a canvas for even more graffiti, it looks terrible! The least they could have done was to make the owner of the building responsible to remove the graffiti; like they tried to make me years ago, when I had to prove I was not the owner of that building. 120 days, how much longer should it take to fix an issue?

This is ridiculous....whats the complaint really about? The sign...then the cars parked...then now a truck with its back on? Like really......

If you read the complaint it was about the sign that was placed by the tire shop. The building is not owned by the tire shop and it is an eye sore and brings down property value. I don't know if you are homeowner or not but the surroundings do affect your homes value. This is not some back alley in the south bronx where this type of graffiti is everywhere. Further, since you asked, the cars are part and parcel of the same issue, the mechanic shop does not own the entire street and should not park cars that they are repairing on residential streets. As per the law, the vehicles they are working on should be kept on their property. The shop is in this community to make money, the residents are here to live. When I can't park in front of my home that I pay taxes for, sometimes for a week at a time because the mechanic shop has parked crashed/disabled & commercial vehicles in front of my home...its a problem for me! Lastly, this app is for residents to post THEIR ISSUES if this is not and issue for you, that's great! It is for me. Hope this will clarify things for you.
