I don't know how my mother comes into this conversation but I'm glad that you have further proved your intelligence and maturity with that statement.

So typical, you post a comment suggesting a person is ‘dense’ for requesting something, not from you, but the city, and then when I reply you get all offended. You could have LEFT OUT your comment about a person being ‘dense’ because that has nothing to do with MY request but you didn’t, so I ADDED your mom. Your maturity, apparently typical. I fail to see the correlation between gang activity and tree branches. I've lived in the concrete jungle for close to three years now and even out my treeless, grass less, concrete front yard, we've had gang activity. Everywhere you go, it's going to happen. Chicago is called Chiraq for a reason. I think you're going to have to come up with a better, more proactive plan to stop gangs-- like motion sensor lights or getting in touch with your alderman (ours has open office hours, by the way) and go hug that tree or buy the tree their selling an cool it down. Maybe you'll realize that you're pretty darn lucky to be looking at landscape instead of trash and cracked concrete.
