Rode by 603-604 Stevens today, and it appears that the grass has been scraped off a part , of the lawn to put a car there.The 2 family home comes with a long, and wide driveway,so besides it being non- permitted, and ugly, it is totally unnecessary to park a vehicle there so close to the sidewalk.

There are no permits pulled for this property, and no paving has been done. Therefore, there have been no violations.
From a site visit, it is obvious they are parking in front of the house. There is not enough room to park based on zoning dimensions. Also, they are driving over a curb that is not a curb cut.
I’m not sure who enforces these types of issues.

Thank You for looking into this, however I am afraid nothing will be done. This kind of parking in front of front doors and excess paving has spread all over the Upper Highlands. I pay taxes to live in a residential neighborhood with homes and lawns, yards, sidewalks for pedestrians not used as a parking space. This is a serious problem and is changing the character of the neighborhood in a negative way.
