This has been sent to our Repair Department.

This is not a BWL owned pole - we are attached to an AT&T pole and in case of an emergency we may change it out. This would require BWL to create the Njuns ticket for them to replace and retain ownership of the pole. We have a point of contact for AT&T and will be in touch with them with a ticket number.

UPDATE: After taking the initiative on my own behalf and going through the terrible hoops of AT&T customer service, a technician came out to evaluate the damage. AT&T does own the pole; however, they aren't in the utility pole business anymore. They have to bid out the job, etc., to get it repaired. As of last week, the bidding process is underway. We'll see what happens. Our whole neighborhood has poles like this.

The technician was shocked at how long it has been damaged. He wouldn't even put a ladder on the pole because of this concerns. (Comcast said the same thing when they saw the pole around five months ago.

As a BWL customer, I'm deeply disappointed about how long this issue has been open. And if I didn't call AT&T, I feel that I would still be looking at a broken pole. If we have a major emergency or disaster in the future, I cringe to think about the response time. This is unacceptable. Everyone needs to play together and be PROACTIVE.
