There has been a lot of street racing over the past week or so from the pinned intersection towards the Mammoth Rd. intersection. This stretch of road is almost a perfect straight away with no intersecting roads for police officers to sit or other vehicles to get in the way. But if LPD posted an officer in the McDonald's parking lot, they should be able to hear them peel out and come down the road. This typically happens at night between 12-2. And more common on Friday and Saturday nights.
