3 years ago, a crew came and ripped out a strip of lawn all the way down our street to put a sidewalk in. It is on 72 Ave between 87St and 87A St. Now there is a 1 foot gap on each side between the sidewalk and the grass because they never came back to fill it in with soil and sod. This is a major hazard because if someone happened to step off the side of the sidewalk or a child' bike veered off the edge they would fall into a hole about 6 inches deep all the way down the street. I have contacted Studio Homes as they were the developer for the Signature Falls area but they said that project has been handed over to the city. If the department in charge of these types of matters could please send a crew to have this fixed it would be greatly appreciated by the neighborhood. Lets prevent someone from getting hurt.
