3 Way Stop sign at the entrance of the Ship Road entrance to Exton Station is not working. Drivers often go through the stop signs or do not let the driver trying to leave or enter Exton Station go when it's their turn.
The problem with this intersection is not the device, it's enforcement. We certainly don't need another traffic light to be placed in the area. However, West Whiteland should post a car there frequently and get some $$$ from the folks that insist on ignoring the stop.
Enforcement is a good idea although as soon as the police leave the area, the problems start up again. My husband has almost been hit several times due to drivers not acknowledging those of us who are driving in or out of Exton Station. I am all for ANY solution!
When the stop sign was first put in wwpd would sit and give tickets and most of the people recievin the tickets lived in exton station go figure... There will never be a true solution to this problem because too many people feel they are above the law
First of all its a 4 way stop. There is another street across from Exton Station. The last problem I knew of was when my brother was hit. I've never had a problem with this intersection since.
There is another street but it doesn't have a stop sign. Can we concentrate on the issue and not how many stop signs there are? For those of us who live in Exton Station it's a daily headache.
