Upon evaluation of the property, the boat sits within an enclosed area. The yard is surrounded by a fence (including driveway) and under 38-143 we have interpreted this situation to be enclosed and in compliance. We have, however, asked that the property owner remove the boat from the front yard and cover it. Any questions please contact 860-763-8919.

While this does not appear to be a violation of the unregistered car ordinance, this may be a Zoneing violation. I have forwarded this issue to the Zoning Department. Thank you.

A small boat is in the corner of the front yard. It is behind an enclosure. Will request that the boat be moved behind the front property line. I am awaiting information as to whether zoning regulations can be enforced behind fences that do not block visibility of the property.

The property owner has found a taker for the boat trailer. It will be removed when snow melt permits removal. Open Zoning Violation case will remain open until the violation has been corrected. Closed in SCF
