Leaving the Hamilton Place mall, going north on Hamilton Place Blvd, two lanes are allowed to turn left to go West on Shallowford Road. But the lane stripes force those in the leftmost lane on Hamilton Place Blvd to go south on I-75. Watching this intersection, it's surprising there aren't more accidents. The solution is simple, repaint the stripes so both lanes turning left are directed to the two lanes on Shallowford Road. Those who want to go I-75 south can get in the left lane; those who want to go I-75 north can get in the right lane -- but those wanting to go West on Shallowford could be in either lane.
