The lights in the tunnels added to help motorists eye adjust from a very bright daylight condition to the low lighting in the tunnel. That's great during the day but AT NIGHT????

Cut them off at night for crying out loud. At night when you enter the tunnel you think you're passing into the after life. Just because VDOT is underfunded doesn't mean VDOT has to be ignorant.
