Please do not post attacks on individuals, especially individuals who spend most of their waking hours working to improve West Oakland. My name is Betty Tyler and I am not ashamed of my post. Are you?

This baseless accusation should be removed. Alex Miller-Cole spends countless hours a month making West Oakland a better community. Everything from street clean-up to tree trimming to activation of neighborhood commercial districts. Whoever posted this crap should be ashamed of him/herself - - - That is probably the reason they submitted anonymously!! This degree of character assassination should carry a penalty... a libel suit for defamation and slander.

ALL: As a Public Ethics Commissioner, I am going to monitor this post. I am a resident of West Oakland and well aware of the good works of Alex Miller-Cole both in the community as a resident, a neighbor and non-profit organization management representative and business owner. How dare anyone suggest that anything other than community improvement is going on here? I will speak with him to find out what is going on here and I will bring it up to our commissioners since part of our role is to assure that City of Oakland workers are in compliance with ethical values.

Hi anonymous, this is your neighbor Alex Miller-Cole. You know my name and you know where I live. If you know these two things then you also have my phone number. You could have called me and I would have told you that all of the trash had been collected from our neighborhood and that I had alerted the city to come pick it up. But I think it is clear that you didn't want to report illegal dumping but to hurt me. Next time you have some extra anger you need to work out, please call me. There is always something good positive to do in our community.

My name is Alex Miller Cole. I don't need to hide. I'm very proud if the work I do. I guess I am your your neighbor. We collected trash from around the neighborhood as we do on a monthly basis. You idiot! I pay out of my pocket to take it to the dump. I pay the worked too. Much more than mean spirited buttheads like you will ever do. This time I decided to have the city workers collect it from a single spot. This is why, I left it adjacent to my home and not yours.

Dumping begets dumping. Don't leave it next to anyone's house, if you take the time to pick it up take the time to throw it out.
