Please refer your request to the Law Dept. to inquire as to your rights in dealing with your neighbor. It is generally understood that a property owner has the right to trim back branches from a neighbor?s tree which extend over the property line back to a plane extending vertically from the property line. Proper pruning cuts should be used at all times.
