I have seen a white man and woman stripping houses in Pontiac in a beige SUV. The guy is slender about 6 foot tall and skinny with blonde hair and clean shaven the female is shorter kind of frumpy looking. Pontiac police have been called and do not stop them because the houses are abandoned and either bank owned or county owned. The Police have said "there is no victim" so we can't do anything. Does this mean every bank owned property or county owned property is open to theivery? Pontiac police you should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!!

That seems to be the normal response for anything in Pontiac that don't include murder or violence. How can you care about a City that don't care about itself. I hate to say it but, stay at home cause the City of Pontiac is not safe, and if you are counting on the Police " Good Luck with That" SMH

u are so right, we have NO police to speak of, its watch ur back and watch your neighbor who live in a house, i have lived in pontiac 50+ years and im totally ashamed to say i live here, shame on the city leaders PAST who got us into this horrible mess,and where are they living? hi on our moneys and where there is POLICE to protect and SERVE them,shame on you, i just paid my taxes and it just made me sick to give pontiac 1 red cent!

I have only seen the guy but they are out there stripping all the aluminum. Is there anything the pontiac police can do????? Why can't they take information and contact the owner. Somebody owns this property.......this is terrible.You pay property taxes and get to look at this.

I live off of baldwin and they were over here too. Just kept looking at us and we were calling the cops but no one ever came. The Pontiac Police are pathetic. i am glad they are going lazy bastards.

Pontiac Police no longer exist. It now longer lays in the lap of the DEPUTY SHERIFF OF OAKLAND COUNTY
These people continue removing siding from houses making Pontiac look even worse. It would be wonderful if they would stop.

There is a house at 300 Harrison, pontiac, someone has been going in and out. It must be done at night. Windows has been removed. House has 3 entries all 3 door are open. At time you see a chair in the middle doorway. Either fix it or tear it down. There is a small house sitting in the back of the larger house appear to be ready to fall in, that need to be torn down. Trouble
