Opis

I recall that last year a motion was made in City Council to put in a sidewalk along Pine Street between Westford St, and Princeton Blvd (Pine Street carries Rte 3A at this point). Children catch the school bus along this stretch and the traffic can be quite frenetic along it. My request is: is there a plan to put in a sidewalk? If so when?

Currently, there is no plan to install a sidewalk on Pine Street. I don't remember a council motion on this. I'll do some research to see if I can find a motion. If there is a motion, we can add this to the list. There are already several locations on the list. We do as many as funding will allow.

Ms. DeMeo, thank you very much. I appreciate your prompt reply. I think that Councilor Lorrey may have been the source, but then maybe I misunderstood or remember incorrectly. I also appreciate that resources are limited. Thank you for your service.

Your memory is good. I found a motion from C. Lorrey asking for a feasibility study for a sidewalk in the location you mentioned. We'll begin the study in the next few weeks.
