Description

Drivers mistakenly think this intersection is a four-way stop, however it is a two-way stop. They get confused because the drivers glance at the back of the pedestrian signs (which have been placed where stop signs typically go) along Village Parkway and think the cross traffic also has stop signs. The bricked pedestrian walkways also make it appear this is a four-way stop. I would suggest signs under the stop signs stating "cross traffic does not stop".

also asked...

A. At sunset in particular. The sun glares directly into the driver's eyes.

A. During past few months as traffic increased with pandemic subsiding.
