We (This neighborhood) have been dealing with this issue for over a year now. I have contacted and spoke with Michael Frederick numerous times by phone and email. He has promised multiple times that the speed hump would be fixed and adding another one a few houses down the road on 2334 44th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711.

We have a lot of kids in this neighborhood that like to ride their bikes, play basketball and do other things kids like to do.

Please see attached video. This car and many others drive at high rate of speed through out the day and night. A few months ago a 9 year old girl was hit on her bicycle in broad daylight by someone driving like this. She is now dead. We want this speed hump replaced and made to slow people down to 5mph along with another speed up on the road to the south of this existing one. If nothing is done we will be taking legal action against the city along with all of our neighbors. We are not the only people in this neighborhood that are angry with these wreckless drivers. The whole neighborhood is tired of it. We would like this speed hump fixed and adding a second one down the road. We have been told that this isn't a priority!? Our kids lives are not a priority is what this community heard. Something needs to be done asap. Please help us slow down these drivers.
