We need a no thru traffic/local traffic only sign. Its gets busier every month. If people want to use the back roads to cut through Washington st traffic they should use the main road, Brown St. There is no need for people from Cumberland/Central Falls to cut through Leedham st to then take a right onto Mendon then a left onto Washington, when departing from Myrtle st. in Cumberland.
It has gotten so loud and busy over the past year. Especially during the summer its alot of loud cars with sub woofers, modified mufflers, diesel trucks and motorcycles. Its no fair to the people that live here. Almost every morning I leave for work I now have a Rhode Island driver speeding to get to work honking and tailgating as I leave my driveway.
If you read the Sun Chronicle, you will know about the recent drug bust. That creep brought in so much extra traffic from Rhode Island ever since he moved in. His customers probably discovered the street had easy access to Washington and word spread out, now its the goto route for people coming from "The hood" to Attleboro shopping district. Probably to conduct business in nearby gas station parking lots.
