Deceptive markings and signage.

I received a ticket for parking in this spot near the corner of Drew and North street. The street has clear parking space space markings where I parked, and there is a sign between the next driveway and the marked space that says no parking here to corner. The obvious inference from the combination of sign and markings is to not park too close to the driveway, but the parking enforcement officer told me it means that you can't park in the area with the parking spot markings.

I will be contesting the ticket, but this is an obvious signage failure that will continue to confuse people until it is corrected.
