Update: I managed to trap 2 of the ferals, both female, 1 of which was very pregnant. She went on to have 5 kittens, all given to forever homes - and then she and the other cat were promptly neutered. There are still vicious feral tomcats in the 'hood, I hear them scrapping from time to time. And yes, the never-ending dinner scraps are still happening!
