I first reported blight on these two boxes way back in March. Thank you for a follow-up complaint since the amount of graffiti is on the rise. I do, however, have to correct you regarding city council approval. To the contrary, the council voted unanimously several months ago in favor of strict regulations that will include hefty permit fees and procedures that are supposed to guarantee that the bins will be properly maintained. The City Planning staff is currently working on a proposed ordinance. We'd love to have your support when this comes back to the council.
