Description

Garrity Park walking track is packed with green “Salt”.
My dog has become violently ill from the salt sticking to his paws and him trying to get it off because it was burning so bad, he licked his paws.
This is not helpful to a community who walks many and multiple animals in a park daily.

Why isn’t sand used more? It’s so much more environmentally and people safe.

This should be completely and thoroughly cleaned up.
Plowed and picked up.
Replace it with safe sand.

Not a good decision to lay this out on a park track. As it is when trucks spread the salt on the streets it comes up on properties causing pet irritation and plant and grass regrowth issues.
