Description
I have made several requests to install no parking signs, as well as cones on the corner of Garrison ave and De Kalb ave (cars are parked). It's hard for vehicles to make a righthand turn as multiple vehicles are always illegally parked on De Kalb Ave. It is also a SAFETY HAZARD as emergency vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, snow plow trucks and bigger vehicles can not make a wide turn. Please resolve this issue. This has been going on for a long time now and today a car got totally by a fire truck. Today a fire truck hit a legally parked vehicle as they were trying to make a wide righthand turn while illegally parked vehicles were blocking the street.

Thank you for letting us know! DW has done a crazy amount that they are just now trying to close out all of the ones that they believe they have already done.
I reassigned this back to my division, since we are currently out of delineators, but we will be getting more and much better ones in shortly. This is on the list!

We are going to look at repaving Dekalb this Spring. This is not set in stone, but either way, we will resolve the issue of cars parking there to the best of our ability. If this section is repaved, then we will make sure this issue is addressed with it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting us know about this! This is very helpful!
