This has been reported by at least three people, starting about 1 month ago. It's somewhat ridiculous DPR has not addressed this issue which presents a clear safety hazard to children using the playground.

I posted this listing to DPR's Facebook page: hoping that helps with a quicker response! We play at this park too, but I fear the sandbox and steer my kids away (plus I'm lazy and don't want to have to sweep up sand at home)

I've posted this complaint as well on July 4th. Has anything been done at all? God forbid a small child is allergic to bee stings and something tragic happens. I can only imagine the law suit...
