Jefferson Ave could use some white lines painted to mark the shoulder. of the road. In its current state each lane from Jackson St. to the hospital entrance is about 30 feet wide. With that much room, many people feel very comfortable driving very fast and so they do. It is not at all unusual for cars to flow down this section of road at 40-45mph. If that isn't the intention for this road then maybe that needs to be communicated to drivers with painted lines and signage.

R. non-existent, lanes are probably 25 feet wide
