A suggestion would be to place a friendly sign asking the mail delivery person to "please do not walk on lawn---walk on concrete walkway, thank you."

This is absolutely ridiculous you don't have anything else to worry about than someone doing their job. Wow this is Bridgeport. Just put the sign up.
