This happens all around my home as well (Franklin-Portland area). I am SO sick of parent's not watching their children. Does anyone know if we can call CPS on these parents? There are very young children, as young as 4-5 years old running around unsupervised and without shoes on. They litter, use foul language (yes, even the 4-5 year olds) and destroy property. Once my car had a large scratch that cost almost $1,000 to fix because on of the kids ran into with his bike. He never apologized or even admitted to it even though I saw him. There was no parent to be seen to lodge a complaint. I AM TIRED OF THIS! As someone who owns a home in Ventura Village and pays taxes to the city, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I bought a house here 1.5 years ago and am ready to move out of the area because I'd rather have respectful neighbors. More patrol is needed.Not just for drugs and prostitution but for people to be held accountable for their children and their children's actions. More children will get hurt if this is not addressed.
