I was recently ticketed with a notice to tow for a sprinter van that was reported to be over 10,000lbs gvwr The van that was ticketed is not over the limit imposed by the new 2022 ordinance If you would like the vehicle to be moved, please write a note and put it on the vehicle instead of making me go to court to dispute a $150 claim for something that is not illegal Traffic enforcement has been ticketing trucks and vans with the "E" designation on their license plates but this designation indicates that the vehicle is over 9000lbs, not 10000lbs which is the limit enforceable by the ordinance Therefore the vehicle is legally able to be parked on residential streets
