nothing's changed in three weeks. Cars still parked on sidewalks in front of those two homes 228--232 Methuen St.

Lowell is the one of the only cities were I have seen as many cars parking on the sidewalk or parking in the wrong direction. It is a huge problem. The city needs to do something to combat this problem.

Over a month since posting and same two silver cars parked on 228 and 232 Methuen St on sidewalk, ..every, single day, with obviously AM's, PM's and weekends most prevalent .

Discontinuing the use of SeeClickFix

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL SEECLICKFIX USERS

In an effort to reinforce the City Manager's commitment to exceptional customer service, the City of Lowell is in the process of consolidating its citizen request systems in order to better service its constituents.
•The City of Lowell is in the process of eliminating all available SeeClickFix service request types by no later than 1/28/2015, by which time it will stop monitoring SeeClickFix.
•All current users of the SeeClickFix system are instructed to begin using the City's E-GovLink system to better assist you with your requests.
•The E-GovLink application is designed to manage Citizen Requests as follows:
◦Visitors may submit feedback/suggestions, request information, place service requests, or report possible code violations to the City of Lowell at your convenience.
◦A ticket number is assigned to each new Request, which allows you to check back at any time to view the current status of your Request. Submitting an email address with your Request will result in a confirmation email, and allow us to more easily contact you as necessary.
◦While it is not necessary to register in order to submit a Citizen Request, we encourage you to do so in order to login and easily track any Citizen Request(s) you submit; doing so also allows you to easily register for mailing lists, newsletters, and updates.

•The City's E-GovLink application may be easily accessed as follows:
◦The City of Lowell Citizen Request System page on the City's website

◦Directly, as a mobile users on smartphones or tablets, via the mobile page, which allows you to submit pictures along with your request.
◦Desktop computer users, may either use the mobile page above, or visit the E-GovLink application page directly.
•The City is working with E-GovLink to deliver a mobile application in the future, designed to provide citizens with other options for submitting citizen service requests.

Continuing forward, the City Manager's office will continue to review evolving technologies as they become available to deliver citizen services in pursuit of delivering exceptional customer service.

I moved here a couple years ago. I feel the city should have their eyes on Shaffer St. When turning onto Shaffer, it's a one way and the street turns right. So on that very corner is a house that's a multifamily building..maybe 2 or 4 apartments. The other day while on a walk a piece of that house cam crashing down from the roof. It was either siding or a gutter. For days it was left there until someone threw it into the yard. I believe the house number is 46. Just now I went on my walk and they have a car parked on the sidewalk although they have a parking lot. They even drive on the sidewalk into the yard because they broke down the fence to create more parking. They also seem to have some sort of illegal car sales thing going on. They have a license plate they use on these random cars. They have 2 cars a week. Very shady people, there is a nice family there I feel bad for. Children live there and someone has the outside of that house like a landfill. Last week The recycling pickup didn't pick up their bins because they're clearly overflowing with trash . The bins were ticketed and I even saw a ticket on the door while on my walk, but the bins are still there!!! There's at least one clean family there because someone totally separated their trash and recycling close to their parking spot. The fact that the bins are labeled and not one apartment who's responsible for it has picked anything up is outrageous to me. I think the owner needs to be fined andi think the city should try knocking on some doors and getting everything figured out. I guarantee that it would be deemed unlivable. That one house is the only house on Shaffer St that looks like that. Anyone coming home having to look at that would totally be disgusted and furious. Please
