In all fairness, I didn't submit a request for 'Pothole" repair. This is a much bigger issue than that. I submitted a request for "Street Repair". The entire section of SW Gary Ormsby Dr between Topeka Blvd and Innovation Pkwy is being severely and adversely impacted by large trucks driving through this section and parking on the shoulders - where the roadside asphalt edges are crumbling under their weight. And the lanes are developing ever larger sunken and heaved sections - to the extent that it is becoming a serious concern for the safety of smaller vehicles passing through that are more susceptible to a loss of control due to the poor road conditions - or by thoughtless drivers who attempt to avoid these sections while endangering themselves and others as they swerve in front of oncoming traffic (yes, I've seen it with my own eyes).

How exactly has this been addressed? Changing 'Street Repair' to 'Pothole Repair' and adding some asphalt repair to a couple of spots hardly fixes the overall issue originally reported. Any plans to resurface this section, which is the only viable solution to the overall, worsening conditions?

We will add this location on to the list to schedule for mill and overlay work (with full depth pavement replacement where needed). Future projects have not been approved beyond 2023, but we are currently scheduling projects out 3-5 years from now.
