Thank you for flagging this issue. This crosswalk has become completely non-functional since the opening of the bridge down the street. It's impossible to cross here as a pedestrian.

the yield and crosswalk signs already here are completely meaningless to drivers.

this is actually a fairly busy crosswalk as it connects the school and hospital to the lightrail (and vice versa). a traffic light that is selectively on RYG mode during business hours and then flashing yellow during night time, or a stop sign should be considered

The Department acknowledges the safety concern at this location. Unfortunately, due to the location of the JCMC driveway, the installation of additional pedestrian signalization is not feasible at this time. The Department will evaluate other options to enhance pedestrian safety at this intersection.
