request was made on 8/18/2021 to have a repair done to me driveway. reference number 52319.
the driveway is progressively getting worse.
there is concern for the safety of myself and surrounding neighbors who have also commented that this needs to be repaired.
I have had at least 3 company's come out to evaluate last year and was told that no one would fix this because it is owned by Wayne County, Plymouth Township confirmed the same thing.
my neighbor is elderly and I am very concerned she will fall and get injured.
I myself have also tripped and fallen. when there is. heavy rain, there is accumulation of water and this is a health hazard especially in the warmer months for breeding of mosquitoes. in the winter the driveway becomes very icy and it is very difficult to clear the snow.
please help me rectify this safety hazard. I am the homeowner, Sharon Thews, and I have lived here for 14 years, watched this deteriorate, I was under the impression this was my our of pocket expense but until last year have found out it is not.
I am deep disappointed that this problem has not even been touched and it has been a year since the request was made.
