Now they tore up 526 east of the intersection .
This road 526 is horendous. It has never been fixed right since they installed a sewer line 4 years ago.
Ocean County roads are awful. Where is our tax money going - into someones pocket?

When is Rt 526 going to be paved?? It is a disaster. Numerous dips, cracked paving, and potholes.

Numerous pot holes & bad pavement right through Jackson and Lakewood.
Other roads in Ocean County are really bad too.
How about putting some people fixing them - they could use the jobs.

Aside from fixing a few hotholes NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO FIX RT 526.
The road is bad - bad- bad.
It has been this way since 5 years ago - lousy job of paving, and then choppi ng it up along the way .
There is a spot right out side our community , that when trucks hit it, you can hear them bounce &
crash with their load.
Five years!!! Are they waiting for Mr. Big Shot to build his hotel or "town center".
He will be dead befor the road is fixed!!!

It's a shame our tax dollars are going to waste. Where is our Ocean County monies going??

The following Roads in Jackson are all maintained by Ocean County: Bartley, Bennets Mills, Aldrich, Bowman, Burke, Butterfly, Cedar Swamp (527) , Central Ave (528), County Line (526), Cross St., Diamond, Don Connor, Farmingdale, Farraday, Frank Applegate, Frehold Rd, Harmony, Hawkins, Hyson, Jackson Mills, Larsen, Leesville, Monmouth (537), North and South Cooksbridge, North and South New Prospect, Pinehurst, S. Stump Tavern, East and West Commodore,East and West Veterans, Thompson Bridge, Toms River Rd (571), Cassville Rd (571) White Rd & Whitesville Rd.
These roads must be plowed, blacktopped, graded, cleaned and maintained by the Ocean County Road Dept. Please call 732-929-2133
