Yes, anytime you see an intoxicated person walking in public, breaking any City ordinances you should call the Huntsville Police non emergency number 256-722-7100 ASAP. If you see a person littering, please call the Green Team and report the issue with as much detailed information as possible plus location. If litter is thrown from a vehicle, report the tag number, make of vehicle and location to 256-532-5326. Immediate reporting is very important in any situation like this. Huntsville Connect is monitored only during business hours, Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.

Sparkle Team will check into any littering on City property, however the Huntsville Police Department needs to be contacted at 256-427-7100 when individuals are involved in illegal activities such as drinking openly in public areas and also breaking City littering ordinances. HPD can give individuals citations for littering as long as the police officer sees them breaking the ordinance. If we can get the repeat offenders cited by HPD hopefully it will put a stop to the littering and any other illegal activities going on in this area. Also, we would like to thank you for you efforts to keep your neighborhood clean by hosting clean-ups and also reporting information to us about littering!
