I agree with this observation. Henderson St to North St gets constant heavy traffic as a bypass of the Rosemary-MLK intersection. Cars turning from Borth St onto Henderson St can't see oncoming traffic.

From 14 Cobb and 17 Cobb... Agreed with the original poster... a dangerous condition that could be easily remedied by the removal of a couple of street parking spots. Let's don't wait for an accident or for someone to get hurt. Furthermore, with the increased thru-traffic that will be caused by the new deck, this will get worse. In fact, as it is now, only one car can reasonably fit at a time on that section of Henderson St. Nobody likes playing a game of chicken. An easy way for the deck to take responsibility would be to allow certain residents to have a space in the deck. For every space the deck effectively takes away from street parking, it should provide a space in the deck. That's only fair. And the concept of requiring off-site improvements is commonplace for a project like this. This doesn't have to be a burden on the residents, so why are we making it one?

We would appreciate a comment from whoever is responsible for this item on the town staff providing information on what will be done concerning this problem

Is anyone working for the Town going to respond to this and let us concerned citizens know what and when some action will be take? It has now been three weeks since the issue was reported and absolutely nothing has been done.

Is Parking now responsible for this issue? If so, please advise what you plan to do and when you plan to do it.

In New Jersey, parking is not allowed within 50 feet of a stop sign for this very reason. Perhaps NC should pick up on this sensible rule.
