Agree. The road between the gas station and school got cleaned up but the skirt area from the main road is the culprit. Needs a catch basin really and potholes riced as well. Gets a lot of traffic with all the kids going to daycare each day

Thanks Patrick. There appears to have been sewer / drainage work going on in that area - Bellevue Ln, Coteau Trail and Chamberlain Ct. Would be great if we could tag onto that if still ongoing. Thanks for keeping us posted.

I noticed some surveyors out in that area this week. Any chance they are working on this?

Hi Dave. Yes, we have contracted a surveyor to assist in evaluating potential fixes to address the drainage issue.

The City is working with a consulting engineer to find a solution for the poor drainage at the intersection. In the meantime, it is my understanding that the low spot will be patched in the interim shortly to at least reduce the depth of the puddle.

The road was patched last week. I don't know if it will help with moving water but the road will be more smooth.

Any update on this Patrick? This will of course turn from a water issue to an ice issue again in a couple months.

The intersection is scheduled for repairs starting Monday September 25. The intention is to keep Point Chase open for traffic, but there will be flagging and limited access. Construction is expected to be complete in 2-3 weeks.
