The left light, if you are on Phoenix heading North has been glitching at red for months now. I’ve been meaning to report that… but tonight when I saw the mangled mess of lights… I thought well… whole thing is a hazard now!

Unfortunately until it gets fixed… likely what’s going to happen is a truck will come through, catch it right, and take down the whole thing. Hopefully it’s fixed prior to incident.

We are working with our traffic light contractor to resolve the issues at this intersection. With the vast span of the poles holding the wires and lights up, it is creating issues for the repair.

An SUV with out of state plates approached the malfunctioning red blinking light that is north bound, in the left lane. Because it blinks on an off the ENTIRE time it is red now, people think this is a “red 4 way stop”. Almost got T-Boned. I have suggested they deploy a 4 way stop, and turn the lights off until the town can “figure out” their contractor system. Absolutely, unacceptable.

Waiting for a fatality apparently.

Just an update- the red light, is now completely black and doesn’t illuminate at all.
