Can you please add speed dips right before the two stop signs on Galveston (and Parkcrest)? Cars are not obeying these signs and certainly not coming to a complete stop. Speed dips (like the ones that used to be on Parkcrest would be a tremendous help. Thank you.

Dear 311 User -
Disregard for a traffic control sign is a enforcement issue, you may use 311 to contact Gilbert PD to request presence at this location. We are not clear on what you are referring to "speed dips".

By "speed dip", I mean a traffic calming method that will force traffic to slow down before the stop sign. The reason I called it a dip is because if you look down Parkcrest, instead of going up like a speed bump, these traffic calming methods go down (thus the car dips when it goes over it). Can you add this traffic calming method on Galveston?
It is used on Parkcrest where the stop sign used to be (I assume for that very reason to force cars to slow before the stop sign). I guess they filled one of the "dips" on Parkcrest last week but the other is still there along with about four more down Parkcrest. Also, please let me know what the correct name is for "speed dips" and I will use it going forward. Thank you.

Dear 311 User -
There are concrete valley gutters for drainage purposes along Parkcrest St., valley gutters are are installed for drainage purposes only. Disregard for any traffic control needs to be reported to Gilbert PD for enforcement.
Thank you for using 311
