I wish the police could do something about the people owning Harleys with open pipes who warm it up for 5 minutes at 2:00 AM then they leave the bar at full throttle through the first 2 gears!

I have called the police department asking why they do not ticket loud motorcycles and they said it is up to the officer to decide if a motorcycle is too loud. I then asked if they would ticket a car with an exhaust as loud as the loud motorcycles and they responded most likely yes. Why the different standard? I believe it is because many motorcycle clubs volunteer and raise money for police activities.

JIM,Being a rider, i can say that i have probably donated more money to charities than you have even thought about. There are just as many cars with loud radios, than motorcycles with loud pipes. Also 'LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES" If it was not for the sound i bet most people would not even see us on the roads

Is that why you pull out of the bar at 230 am and floor it for the first two gears
