Description

Recent road work patch was poorly done with insufficient fill and asphalt. middle of patch is 4-5 inches below road level. Recall contractors and have them do the job right.

Regularly road patching by contractors is substandard. The city needs to send out competent inspectors after patching is done to insure work is quality done. Plus, should have 2 year warranty on work and inspected again just before the warranty period is up. Please, it's not that complex nor difficult.

The patch is so large one has to swerve into the bike lanes to avoid it. That makes this a safety issue.
It's time to fix it. Not next spring.

I hit this again the other day, bone jarring tire impact. What is the holdup? How can a patch like this be allowed on a major thoroughfare used frequently by City busses?

Thank you for contacting us. This issue was forwarded to our right of way inspection team back in November when the issue was submitted. We have followed up with them to make sur the issue either is being addressed or has been addressed. Once confirmation is received this request will be closed.
