Thank you very much for positioning the radar speed display however it would be better positioned further down Paseo Entrada on the north side of the roadway., There is a white block wall across from 950 Paseo Entrada that is near the end of the downhill traffic. At the current position near the intersection of Paseo Entrada and Paseo Del Cerro vehicles are not up to speed which negates the purpose of the display.

Can you please speak to the lady with the blue Honda Accord Hybrid that appears to live at 1082 Paseo Entrada? She recklessly passed me using the oncoming lane and blew the stop sign at Del Cerro last Tuesday at 7:40 a.m. (reported it via this app. )

@concernedcitizen - we cannot enforce infractions that were not observed by an officer and will not be making contact based on a one time offense.

R. Rea I am very aware of that. Just asking for some proactivity here. Can we please have a officer out to do some education & warnings? The offenders I've witnessed have been EASTBOUND between 7:30 & 8:00. Paseo Verde would be the ideal location to observe. Thank you for your help !

The daily dangerous speeding on residential Paseo Entrada is getting worse! I have walked across the street to have vehicles at high speed swerve into the other lane while never reducing their speed while passing me. We need greater enforcement PLEASE!

No traffic enforcement has occurred since May 4th yet the dangerous speeding continues on Paseo Entrada. Please provide enforcement and also can the radar speed sign be put in place once again.

Speed Trailer placed in this area on 7/10/23.

Thank you for the trailer placement. I was unaware of it's new location. I did not realize it had been deployed as on the westbound portion of Paseo Entrada near 954 the speeding continues creating a hazardous situation. I'm sure the trailer is a helpful reminder to some however the only way to reduce the drivers who daily blatantly disregard the posted speed limit is by ticketing the violators.

I appreciate all that our law enforcement officers do for the community and realize that traffic is not a top priority. If you have any suggestions I would gladly entertain them.

On 7-14-2023 at 5:30 PM I was videotaping speeding vehicles in front of 954 Paseo Entrada. The vehicle was traveling westbound on Paseo Entrada at high speed. As he saw me and passed my location, he then stopped and reversed at high speed toward on the sidewalk.

The driver, male/55 yrs old, told me to remember that he knows where I sleep. I was stunned by his reply, then he repeated that he knows where I sleep. I took this as a threat towards my personal safety and a threat of damage to my property.

I merely asked him to obey the posted speed limit. I have the full video in my possession. I post this as I do not take threats lightly and if any harm is done to me or my property I want this to be documented.

Is there any thing that the CVPD can do about this driver/vehicle?

Speeding on Paseo Entrada remains unabated. With the recent start of the school session excessive speeding occurs every morning and afternoon by motorists. Speed enforcement requested please.

Thank you for the placement of the speed trailer. It has had some effect yet many drivers obviously ignore it? What else can be done to abate this dangerous situation? Photos taken 10/6 afternoon.

As the speeding continues please perform traffic enforcement once again. 2:15 - 2:30 is a very heavy time with school children being picked up and parents speed down the hill.

Please perform traffic enforcement on Paseo Ladera. It has been 1 month since any enforcement activity yet the hazard of speeding cars continues daily!

Requesting the positioning of the Speed Trailer on Paseo Entrada. For some reason there has been no traffic enforcement for some time. The speed trailer does slow the traffic for some vehicles, however the dangerous speeding continues unabated.

Conducted traffic enforcement in this area on 11/28/23 for approximately 20 minutes. No violations observed.

As enforcement has little or no effect I am requesting that the speed trailer be positioned once again on Paseo Ladera. This has been the only action which has slowed traffic. I know modern speed trailers collect and record vehicle speed and volume data. I am assuming that this information is available as for peak periods of traffic and the constant speeding which occurs. I would like to know why further action has not been provided by the Chula Vista Police department. Is the speed trailer data available to the public? I would be very interested to view this data.
