Sharraxaadda

Taxi drivers in street waiting place for hotel often (say once a fortnight) are out of car chatting while on carriageway or standing against the car back to the traffic with or without door open. I am usually trying to stay to the left of the thru traffic n this location. Can anything be done. Thanks.
