The corner of Central and Walnut is a blind area from both the side of Central and the opposite side -- Vincent Place. Vehicles are allowed to park on both the left and the right of the street and they do so pretty much from the edge of the corner making it virtually impossible for drivers to see what is coming from the left when making a right or crossing over to Vincent and vice versa coming from Vincent place. Walnut should definitely be patrolled much more as it has become a highway of sorts due to the rush to arrive to the train station timely. This is a residential area and many children along with residents and their pets would like to cross the street without dodging a vehicle moving at the speed of 45 plus miles an hour. The swipe of the mirror from your vehicle when parked on Walnut while visiting friends and family is no longer a possibility rather an eminent reality.
